  • Must be ABLE TO MANAGE A TEAM who is geographically near and/or far from you.
  • Must be an EFFECTIVE VERBAL COMMUNICATOR.
  • Must be a THOUGHTFUL, SELFLESS, TEAM PLAYER.
  • Must be a competent, driven, RELIABLE, trustworthy individual.
  • Must have access to a home computer or laptop.Must have access to secured Internet when using home computer/laptop.Must have mobile phone with texting capability and texting plan.
  • Must be technologically savvy (i.e., texting, social networking, email, Microsoft® Word, Microsoft® Excel, etc.).

 Duties (Subject to Change):

  • Is charged with being the liaison between the National Greek All-Star™ Awards™ and your specified geographical area(s), namely your assigned state.
  • Head the operation of securing meetings for potential partnerships with community leaders and entities within your specified geographical area(s) on behalf of the National Greek All-Star™ Awards™.
  • The point person for responses to negative Greek-letter organization stories within their specified geographical area(s).  This is done through coordination with the Director of State Liaisons, who consults regularly with the national GASA office.
  • Head the operation of gathering individual, political, educational, group, business, non-profit, and corporate support and assistance within your specified geographical area(s) to help raise awareness about, support of, and participation in National Greek All-Star™ Awards™ local, regional, national, and international initiatives and Greek life as a whole.
  • Will work side-by-side with and under the direction of the National Director of State Liaisons, who reports directly to the Associate Director; all of whom will be under direct supervision of the Executive Director or otherwise specified staff member, with final decision being held by the Owner in all cases at any time.
  • Be open and flexible to sudden adjustments in schedule and duties.

 Compensation: 

  • WORK EXPERIENCE: Volunteer receives vital work experience which will aid them in transitioning to/enhancing their job opportunities not only in this field, but in several additional leadership positions.
  • MONETARY COMPENSATION: This position gives no monetary compensation, and you applying for this position means that you understand such.
  • OTHER COMPENSATION: Free entry into all non-induction-based company events for you and one other (+1) per full term served (full term = until the end of each fiscal year).
