    Scott Walker 001

What a difference a day makes.

Yesterday, the 2nd Republican Debate for the 2016 Presidential Campaign included most of the same interesting characters from the 1st, one of whom being Scott Walker, current Republican Governor of the great state of Wisconsin.  And why shouldn’t it?  Just look at the amazing gubernatorial record this candidate says he has built:

    • Won against the Unions in his state.
    • Won a historic recall election.
    • Created 250K jobs in Wisconsin.
    • Governed a Blue state from deficit to fiscal solvency.

That is an almost perfect record for an individual running for a Republican Presidential nomination.  And, now that he’s in the 2016 race, it’s a perfect time for him to show his monstrous political prowess, right?  So, how has he done so far?

    Not well.

It seems like this(CLICK HERE to Read More…).

    The 'Game' Is Rigged

    SuperPacs.

One of the biggest, deadliest issues in America is campaign financing. Since the Citizens United ruling by the Supreme Court of the United States in 2010, there has been an influx of money into campaigns that can only be described as ‘legal bribery of politicians.’ And, just so you understand what I dub the ‘simpleness of simplicity,’ let me give you one quick example of the insanity of the Citizens United ruling and other crazy campaign finance laws.

Ok, you have former Governor Jeb Bush; son of the 41st President of the United States, George H. W. Bush, Sr., and younger brother of the 43rd President of the United States, George W. Bush, Jr.  Now, Governor Bush is more than likely, like his father and brother before him, going to be running for President of the United States, and we all know that running for that office takes an inordinate amount of money. However, in the age of Corporate Kings, raising those inordinate amounts of money is much closer to easy than difficult.

You see, nowadays the bulk of political campaign capital on that level is raised by what’s called SuperPacs; political organizations that monetarily support single or multiple candidates and can receive unlimited monies from anyone, and when they say unlimited, they(CLICK HERE to Read More…).

    Rise of the Corporate Kings

    I have a serious issue.

    1. Corporations pay so low a tax now that they can keep all of the profits with minimal payout…
    2. …coupled with government subsidies, that means that they don’t need to pay as many employees to stay profitable…
    3. …which means they can lay off half their employees…
    4. …which weakens Unions…
    5. …which strengthens the companies’ positions and makes conditions for workers worse…
    6. …which, with the layoffs, minimizes government revenue…
    7. …which, in turn, raises the government debt because way more people who are laid off are receiving unemployment benefits…
    8. …which lowers the value of the dollar…
    9. …which raises the price of goods and services…
    10. …which makes people spend less…
    11. …which slows down the economy…
    12. …which, in turn, means…(CLICK HERE to Read More…).

By Tim Carthon (Blog #13: Economics, Race Relations)

A lovely, highly-intelligent, frustrated Sista sent me a candid message on Facebook® with a poignant question:

I see you supporting the community and I am an avid supporter of black owned business, but what can we do as a people to become more supportive of our own? It angers me that people say that we don’t support our own. I think that it’s the split in the black community that causes this; you know, the one between ‘niggas’ and ‘black people.’ I am of the opinion that those that think we do nothing for our own haven’t been helped by our community. I’ve been given housing, a job, scholarships, everything by the black community. I spend a lot of my money in the black community and, when I need things, I seek out blacks first. I am of the opinion that those who ‘do not,’ don’t because they are of the opinion that white is right. So yes, jews do business with their own, but so do blacks, and it’s particularly the affluent blacks. There goes that difference again…the ‘niggas’ don’t frequent black business because they rarely are aware of any, and it’s not because black business aren’t in their area, but because no businesses are in their area. So what are your thoughts on this? I want to work towards rectifying it.” ~ Kemisha Roston

That was really straight forward, hard-hitting, no-holds-barred honesty from her. Respect.

My response to her was short and simple(CLICK HERE to Read More…).

Yes, you read the title correctly. White people are not the problem. (Wait, I wasn’t supposed to say that out loud, was I?)

    #RPP…#RedPillPlease…Let me take you back…

See, the problem started with the brainwashing of white supremacy centuries ago.

No, no, I’m not being cynical. Just hear me out…

As I was saying, the brainwashing of white supremacy started centuries ago and was (and still is) brilliant. They’ve made it the “default” good, hence why there are no “White History Months” that are ‘named.’ It’s because the remaining months are ‘automatically’ theirs.

And now, ‘they’ literally are silently attempting to remove all traces of slavery from many new text books while simultaneously spending billions to make people believe that the reason billions of humans are poor and starving is because they’re simultaneously “lazy and greedy.” ‘They’ are not playing with you anymore. The war against the poor has begun.

Yes, you read that correctly. The war against the poor has(CLICK HERE to Read More…).

  • “The Path”: A Story of Betrayal, Loyalty, Determination, and Love
Comments Off on “The Path”: A Story of Betrayal, Loyalty, Determination, and Love

By Tim Carthon (Blog #11: Relationships)

You are walking from Maine to California, and, when you get to California, someone will be there to give you $10M the moment you cross the state line.

Your significant other likes how that sounds and says they’re rolling with you to the end, ride or die, so you all start out on “The Path.”

While traveling The Path, many trials and tribulations occur. They are very, very difficult and you meet them with a smile. However, your significant other meets them with slight disdain for even being in the situation.

The longer you all are on the path, the more your significant other complains.

The path is getting shorter and shorter, yet, it simultaneously seems to be endless to your significant other. For they are focusing on the length of the journey and not the certitude of the bountiful ending.

After increasingly and more vitriolically complaining for most of the way, you all come to a point where you are only 100 miles from California.

Suddenly, you hear your significant other scream(CLICK HERE to Read More…).

Comments Off on Is Bill O’Reilly Serious? Cause and Effect in “Black America”: Part 2 of 2

By Tim Carthon (Blog #10: Race Relations)

Before I continue with Part 2, here’s a quick review of Fox “News” host Bill O’Reilly’s discussing “Race & Crime in America” with. I want you to watch, hear, and refresh yourself with his still unbelievably-narrow-visioned crime statistics assessment:

    *VIDEO NO LONGER AVAILABLE*

(Continued from Is Bill O’Reilly Serious? Cause and Effect in “Black America”: Part 1 of 2):

For centuries, young black men, just like all other individuals of their culture, simply wanted to be able to make a decent living, learn more, have a family, and be left alone. Unfortunately, many “light-skinned” people (with a superiority complex) could not leave young black men alone because, at the time, they were easily bullied and too good a cheap labor force.

So, what did these much, much lighter-skinned people do?

They kept poking at these young black men through open, underhanded, and behind-closed-door segregationist policies; stopping them from making a decent living in the work force and stifling their educational opportunities, thereby making it more difficult to raise the families those men wanted and/or already had. And then something happened(CLICK HERE to Read More…).

    Stupidity or purposeful ignorance?

    Choose one.

Those are the only words that I currently have to describe the mind-boggling origin from which the words that came out of Fox “News” host Bill O’Reilly’s mouth when discussing “Race & Crime in America” derived. Before I discuss this, I want you to watch and hear his jaw-droppingly-narrow-visioned conclusions for yourself:

    2. REMEMBER: Breaking the computer screen while O’Reilly’s on it doesn’t make him go away. It just temporarily stops you from being able to get on Facebook® and type with your fingers instead of your thumbs.
    3. *Insert random act of violence that Bill O’Reilly knows you’re going to do HERE*.

Financial glory…then, massive financial devastation (for most)…

    Almost 5 years later…

    Softness.

    They’re calling it a recovery…

    Still softness.

    Self-inflicted Debt Ceiling wounds…

    Increased softness.  Then…

    *BOOM!*

    Sequestration…

    Softness on steroids.

Don’t get me wrong. I think sequestration will be great for US in the long run, but the question is:

With all this softness, when are we going to finally ‘go hard’?

When are we going to put the pedal to the metal and run right through everything (and everyone) that is obstructing US and keeping US from reaching our maximum potential?  Oh, that’s right, “We, The People…” let the obstructionists control the vehicle.  So, since they’re controlling the vehicle, what, in the world, would make them choose to(CLICK HERE to Read More…).

By Tim Carthon (Blog #7: Credit/Budgeting)

This is what can easily happen if you lose focus on your financial education and success goals (Continued from THE MEPS AND THE LEPS: THE STORY OF LOST FOCUS, PART 1 OF 2):

called and gathered for a National MEP Emergency Conference:

ORDER, ORDER Got Dangit!  Now, these LEPs are just becoming more and more educated and we can’t seem to stop them.”

Yeah, every time they see one of us with something, they want it.”

Sooner or later, they are going to figure out our secret.

We’ve been in control of them for hundreds of years.  If they figure out our secret, then we will lose our control over them.

    WE CAN’T LET THAT HAPPEN!

If they get to this next level, then there will be nothing standing in their way to keep them from reaching our final level.

It seems inevitable.  What are we going to do?  How are we going to stop their success and continued higher education onslaught?

The MEP conference went on for days.  They brain stormed, and brain stormed until their storm became a light drizzle.  Then suddenly, it hit them.

I GOT IT!” one of the MEPS said.  “In order to stop their onslaught of higher education and success, all we have to do is make them believe that they have reached the final level of those two things.
